SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Duties
You will supervise, direct, and coordinate the work of the Branch to include serving as the first-line supervisor to the assigned Section Heads.
You will be responsible for administering an effective personnel program, establishing new jobs, establishing performance standards and evaluating performance, requesting appropriate personnel changes.
You will exercise full supervisory authority and responsibility for the Branch in identifying long-range plans and establishing objectives and goals for assigned functions and programs.
You will assure reasonable equity of performance standards and rating techniques developed for the Branch.
You will represent the Branch and SSP in dealing with other Navy organizations, and SSP Headquarters offices and Field Activities as applicable.
You will act for the military Branch Head in his/her absence and works in tandem with the Branch Head on matters regarding the interpretation of policies and the development of programs to support command objectives.
You will define the material support roles and responsibilities of SSP organizational elements, and of other DOD organizations in support of SSP.
