Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: 10/05/2026 \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, rotating \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n Registered Nurse – PICU | Cleveland Clinic Main Campus\n Location: Cleveland, Ohio Specialty: PICU – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Shift: 3x12 Hours – Day/Night Rotation Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Night: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Contract: 91 Weeks \n \n We are hiring an experienced PICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio . \n This position provides care to a specialized pediatric population, including patients of various ages up to 25 years. The ideal candidate will have strong PICU experience along with experience in epilepsy monitoring, EKG/ECG rhythm recognition, and inotropes. Key Responsibilities\n \n Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients. \n Monitor patients and recognize changes in cardiac rhythms and clinical condition. \n Provide specialized care for patients across a wide age range, up to 25 years. \n Utilize PICU clinical skills, including experience with epilepsy monitoring and inotropes. \n Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team. \n Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. \n Follow Cleveland Clinic's clinical, safety, and compliance standards. \n Required Qualifications\n \n Minimum 1 year of permanent PICU experience . \n Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand . \n BLS – AHA or American Red Cross. \n ACLS . \n PALS . \n Experience with epilepsy monitoring . \n Experience with EKGs/ECG rhythm recognition . \n Experience with inotropes . \n One professional reference from a Manager, ANM, Supervisor, or Director in the specialty within the past 12 months. \n \n Preferred: NIHSS certification/experience.
