PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA) Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Location: The Villages, Florida Schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pay Rate: Up to $35/hour (Based on Experience) Experience Level: New Grads Welcome! ASAP Start!! Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a clinical team in The Villages, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced PTAs and new graduates looking to grow in a supportive outpatient clinical setting focused on patient-centered care and rehabilitation. Responsibilities Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretching, and mobility training Apply therapeutic modalities including ultrasound, heat/cold therapy, electrical stimulation, and traction under PT direction Perform manual therapy techniques within PTA scope, including soft tissue mobilization and assisted stretching Monitor patient progress and document treatment responses accurately Educate patients and families on prescribed home exercise programs and recovery techniques Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions and reinforce proper exercise form Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and therapy supplies Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and general administrative support Collaborate with therapists and healthcare staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes Qualifications Active Florida Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team-oriented clinical environment New graduates are encouraged to apply Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Supportive clinical environment Opportunity for mentorship and professional growth Consistent daytime schedule with work-life balance
