West Columbia, SC | Outpatient Clinic

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts) | No weekends | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting
• Support a high-volume clinic where physicians see between 15 and 25 patients per day
• Collaborate with the oncology care team to coordinate patient assessments, treatments, and follow-up care
• Document patient information and clinical notes accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Adhere to oncology nursing standards and best practices, including those aligned with ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or a compact license valid in South Carolina — must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
• EPIC charting experience required
• ONS certification required — candidate may work toward obtaining certification after start date
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Complete work history and education verification required prior to clearance

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an oncology or hematology outpatient clinic setting
• Familiarity with oncology treatment protocols and patient education
• Strong organizational skills to support a fast-paced, high-volume clinic environment
