This assignment places you in an innovative renal/medical-telemetry environment that values teamwork and holistic patient care. With 36 beds devoted to individuals managing acute and chronic kidney-related conditions, you'll collaborate closely with nephrologists, family medicine providers, and hospitalists. Exposure to cutting-edge post-hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis care sharpens your expertise while broadening your professional perspective-a clear boost to your resume. Schedule/Hours:

• Options for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays as scheduled

Experience and Qualifications:

• Associate degree in nursing required
• Current Alabama or Compact RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Active BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• At least 1 year of recent renal/telemetry experience (minimum 18 months in nursing, 2 years preferred)
• Flexible to float to other units or facilities as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive RN-level care to patients with a variety of kidney-related diagnoses
• Manage 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios, specializing in renal therapies including peritoneal and post-hemodialysis care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide effective, patient-centered treatment
• Adapt to diverse clinical environments and protocols within the hospital system
