Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry

Overview Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for Med/Surg, Telemetry, Neuro, and Stroke units. Responsibilities Providing direct patient care on specialized units Monitoring and interpreting telemetry rhythms and responding to patient condition changes Managing IV insertions and therapy Caring for neurology and stroke patients, including NIHSS assessments Participating in floating, weekend, and holiday coverage as required Completing pre-start modules prior to orientation Qualifications Active Virginia or compact RN license Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including travel nursing BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records Ability to pass an EKG/telemetry test with a score of 80% or higher Preferred Skills Experience with neurology and stroke patients Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and IV insertion Comfort with patient ratios of 1:7 This Role Offers Opportunity to work in Coastal Virginia near beaches and waterways Flexible 3x12-hour night shifts on a fast-paced, specialized unit #J-18808-Ljbffr Black Women's Mental Health Institute
