Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist, serving vibrant elementary campuses near Pleasant Prairie, WI. This position offers 37.5 hours per week, supporting a caseload of 62 students. You'll split your time between two elementary schools, ensuring students receive quality therapeutic services that empower their academic and functional skills.

You'll also provide supervision to an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), who delivers services at another nearby elementary school 2 to 2.5 days per week.

Essential qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Wisconsin
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Ability to mentor and supervise an OTA
• Familiarity with IEPs and school documentation

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct occupational therapy services to elementary students
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
• Providing guidance, oversight, and support to the OTA as part of the service team
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student progress evaluations

This contract role offers a competitive starting rate of $43+ per hour, based on experience, with eligibility for renewal pending performance and ongoing need.
