After School Activity Leader

Paraprofessional Position

Under the supervision of the classroom teacher and building principal and funded by categorical money, assists in providing for the educational and special needs of targeted students in the classroom and performs routine clerical duties as may be assigned. These positions are located in Taft, CA.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education: Proof of High School Diploma, Associates degree or 48 semester units at an accredited college or university or successful completion of the paraprofessional exam. Experience: Experience working with children is desired. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice as well as a physical clearance are conditions of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.

In addition to submitting the certificated application, qualified candidates should upload: Paraprofessional certificate or copy of transcript showing degree or 48 semester units at a college/university (If not yet obtained, applicant will be required to take exam(s) at the district office.)
