Parts Cleaner We are seeking a Parts Cleaner to support production operations within a precision manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for cleaning manufactured parts using specialized wash baths and rinse processes. Employees will work independently in a dedicated cleaning area, following detailed job travelers to ensure each product receives the correct cleaning procedure before moving to the next stage of production. Responsibilities Read and follow job travelers and cleaning instructions. Load and unload parts into cleaning baths. Complete wash and rinse cycles according to specifications. Handle parts carefully to avoid damage or contamination. Verify batch information and job documentation. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety guidelines when working with cleaning solutions. Move completed parts to the next manufacturing process. Essential Skills Ability to follow written work instructions and job travelers. Strong attention to detail. Manufacturing or production experience. Ability to handle repetitive work. Reliability and strong attendance history. Ability to work safely around cleaning solutions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to read and understand English work instructions. Ability to stand for most of the shift. Ability to lift up to 30-40 lbs occasionally. Reliable transportation. 6+ months of manufacturing experience preferred. Experience working with quality-controlled processes. Experience handling delicate parts or components. Previous production, assembly, or cleaning experience. Work Environment The role is situated in a dedicated parts cleaning area with multiple wash baths of varying sizes. Employees will use alcohol-based cleaning solutions and non-foaming detergents, with PPE provided and required. The position involves standing for most of the shift and performing repetitive but detail-oriented work in a clean, organized manufacturing facility. Work is independent with periodic interaction with production teams, and the environment has moderate manufacturing noise levels. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Natick, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
