Project Manager

Overview Are you a proactive, detail-driven leader who thrives on bringing complex projects to life? Dekko, we’re looking for a results-driven Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives that drive innovation, productivity, and growth within our dynamic production manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of projects from concept through completion - ensuring timelines, budgets, benefits and quality expectations are consistently met. What You’ll Do Develop and execute clear, actionable project plans with defined scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver projects on scope, on-time, and within budget. Proactively drive project milestones, monitor progress, and adapt quickly to changing priorities or obstacles including customer-driven scope changes and supply chain disruptions. Identify, assess, and manage project risks and develop proactive mitigation plans Facilitate project meetings, status updates, internal executive briefings, and customer facing communications to ensure alignment and transparency. Oversee change management across scope, budget, and timelines Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers, balancing Dekko's internal NPD roadmap priorities with the commitments made to customers Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Maintain rigorous project documentation and reporting to support customer deliverables, internal audits, and continuous improvement tracking. Champion a safety-first culture across all project phases, holding teams accountable to Dekko's safety standards. Manage customer-facing program milestones from initial quote and design review through PPAP, launch, and production handoff. Partner with Sales and Engineering during the quoting process to establish realistic scope, schedule, and cost baselines for new customer programs. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field. 3+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Resilient problem solver—calm under pressure, agile in uncertainty PMP certification preferred, or equivalent experience with formal project management frameworks. Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project; familiarity with ERP systems a plus. Strong grasp of project life cycles, resource planning, and budget control. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management skills. Proven ability to influence without authority and lead cross-functional teams toward shared outcomes. Excellent communicator who can tailor messaging to technicians, vendors, and executives alike. Bonus if you have Experience in wire harness, cable assembly, or interconnect manufacturing NPI project management experience, including quoting, design review, and production launch Background in automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, or specialty electronics PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification.
