Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to help clients in their mental health journeys, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques. \n
- Establish mutual therapy goals with clients, helping them develop action plans to achieve their desired outcomes. \n
- Regularly evaluate and modify treatment plans based on client progress, feedback, and changing life circumstances. \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate holistic care for individuals with complex needs. \n
- Complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and state regulations. \n
- Maintain a caseload of clients, utilizing an electronic health record system to document session notes and track progress. \n
- Participate actively in staff meetings, contributing to case discussions and sharing innovative ideas for program development. \n
- Engage in peer supervision and mentorship opportunities to enhance team dynamics and professional development. \n
As a Mental Health Counselor with us, you will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. This includes but is not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other emotional or behavioral concerns. You will employ your expertise to create a safe and welcoming environment, allowing clients to express their thoughts and feelings openly.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required. \n
- Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California. \n
- Proficient understanding of mental health treatment modalities, community resources, and client engagement techniques. \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with clients. \n
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. \n

- A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical mental health setting is preferred, though new graduates with strong training backgrounds will be considered. \n
- Experience utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health records is highly advantageous. \n
- A background in providing culturally sensitive therapy and understanding of community mental health resources is an asset. \n
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
