Manufacturing Associate Job Description Assist in building crate and skids, hold and supply equipment and materials, clean work areas, and guide corrugated metal panels from the roller to conveyor. Crate, wrap, and stack metal panels and load/unload trucks. Maintain a safe work environment. This position involves manual work and does not include machine or equipment operation. Responsibilities Assist mill operators by holding and supplying equipment and materials as needed. Clean work areas and equipment. Grab and guide corrugated metal panels from the roller to conveyor using standard gloves. Stack, wrap, and crate metal panels. Load and unload trucks. Maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Saturday work may be required. Must be available to work either shift schedule of 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday, or 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday – Friday. All workers must wear appropriate footwear, including steel‑toe boots. Employer‑paid drug testing required for foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post‑hire at random or upon suspicion of use. Post‑hire employment eligibility (e‑Verify) check required for foreign and domestic workers. Must be able to work as part of a team in a mill environment. Entry level; requires supervision. Location 1020 Veterans St., Mauston, WI 53948 (Juneau County). No daily transportation to/from workers' home and primary worksite. Compensation & Benefits Base wage: no less than $18.22 per hour. Overtime: $27.33 per hour. Hours: 40 hours per week, shift schedule provided. Employer provides or reimburses government‑mandated and visa‑related fees (excluding passport fees). Employer provides tools and supplies, including uniforms if applicable. Non‑local workers receive reimbursement for inbound travel costs and daily meal subsistence; outbound travel costs are paid by the employer upon contract completion. Travel reimbursements based on least‑cost common carrier rate. Employer guarantees at least three‑fourths of the workdays in each 12‑week period of the total contract period.
