About the Position

Job Title: RN - OR Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care OR RN experience License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN hospital experience - BLS & ACLS Description: This is a travel position for an RN in the Operating Room. The shift is from 7 AM to 7 PM. The unit includes 28 beds and requires an effective staff ratio during the day shift. The team typically comprises charge nurses, RNs, CNAs, and sitters. Night shift has a patient ratio of 1:1. You will work with advanced equipment such as DaVinci Robotics SI, XI, and Mako. Experience with Meditech is preferred. Common procedures performed include orthopedics, gynecology, general surgery, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, dental, eyes, pediatrics, spine, neuro, trauma, TAVR, MAKO, and DaVinci. Candidates should have prior experience in ortho, neurology, and vascular surgery. Strong patient care experience and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. On-call duty consists of 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month with a 30-minute response time.
