About the Role

We are seeking an FPGA/SoC Verification & Test Engineer to support the development, integration, and testing of FPGA- and SoC-based hardware. This role involves hands-on laboratory testing, requirements-based verification, hardware troubleshooting, and collaboration with FPGA, electrical, hardware, and systems engineering teams.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute requirements-based verification and validation tests for FPGA/SoC hardware.
• Translate hardware and system requirements into test plans, procedures, test cases, and expected results.
• Perform on-target testing using engineering and production-representative hardware.
• Support FPGA/SoC integration, hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Set up laboratory test equipment, interfaces, cables, loads, and other test hardware.
• Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, and protocol/interface analyzers.
• Test digital, analog, and mixed-signal interfaces and system functionality.
• Support testing of interfaces such as Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, and other avionics/embedded interfaces.
• Develop scripts and tools to automate testing, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Document test procedures, results, discrepancies, technical findings, and verification evidence.
• Collaborate with FPGA, hardware, electrical, systems, and verification engineers to resolve issues.
• Support regression testing, design reviews, test readiness reviews, and configuration control of test assets.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
• Experience with FPGA/SoC technologies, digital hardware, or embedded computing systems in a laboratory environment.
• Experience developing and executing requirements-based verification or validation tests.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting digital hardware, FPGA-based systems, or embedded electronics.
• Ability to interpret hardware, FPGA, interface, and system requirements and convert them into effective test procedures.
• Experience documenting test plans, procedures, results, discrepancies, and technical findings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
