Wiring Assembler

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Wiring Assembler to assemble, wire, and inspect electrical components and wiring harnesses according to drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with hand tools, reading basic electrical diagrams, and performing precise hands-on assembly work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble wiring harnesses, electrical components, connectors, terminals, and related assemblies.
  • Cut, strip, crimp, route, and terminate wires according to specifications.
  • Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Use hand tools and basic electrical assembly equipment safely and correctly.
  • Inspect completed wiring for proper connections, routing, labeling, and workmanship.
  • Perform continuity and basic electrical tests as required.
  • Identify and correct assembly or wiring defects.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow company safety, quality, and production procedures.
  • Meet established production schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Document completed work and report issues to supervisors or quality personnel.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in wiring, electrical assembly, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand basic wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
  • Comfortable using hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, cutters, and screwdrivers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive, precise work.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform hands-on assembly for extended periods.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience building wiring harnesses or control panels.
  • Knowledge of wire gauges, terminals, connectors, and crimping techniques.
  • Experience using a multimeter or other basic electrical testing equipment.
  • Manufacturing or production assembly experience.
  • Familiarity with quality-control procedures.
Work Environment

This position is primarily performed in a manufacturing or assembly environment. The Wiring Assembler must follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
