Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide care in a 28-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) that focuses on a cardiac patient population. The RN will manage a patient load with a nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:3-4 and is expected to handle various cardiac-related conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain. The role requires proficiency with cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors. Responsibilities Provide patient-centered care to individuals in a cardiac Progressive Care Unit. Administer medications and monitor patient vitals according to established protocols. Evaluate and document patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Documented experience in a Progressive Care Unit or equivalent setting. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. Valid Registered Nurse license.
