Surgery - General Physician

Job Title: Locum - Physician - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

Join a dedicated team at a full-service acute care hospital located in Springfield, Ohio. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide call coverage for a Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgeon in a facility known for its advanced medical practices and supportive environment. The medical center features a robust practice with an onsite lab, x-ray services, and uses the EPIC documentation system. You will assist in both the office and clinic setting, ensuring high-quality care to adult patients.

• Provide call coverage and assist in the office/clinic setting.
• Perform general cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries including coronary artery bypass, valvular repairs, and aneurysm repairs.
• Conduct evaluations and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues.
• Facilitate bronchoscopy and ventilation management.
• Collaborate with onsite support staff, including APPs.
• Manage hospital caseload with a focus on adult procedures.

• Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery.
• Experience in vascular surgery is highly preferred.
• Must provide a clean malpractice and background history.
• Availability for all specified dates in the job description.

• Valid Ohio state license or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission).
• BLS and ACLS certification are required.
