Role Description The Associate will work full time on-site in Santa Fe, NM. Day-to-day responsibilities include legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other court filings, as well as reviewing medical records and expert reports. The role involves participating in case strategy development, communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and experts, assisting with depositions, hearings, and trial preparation. The Associate will collaborate with partners and other team members, manage assigned case files, and ensure that deadlines and procedural requirements are consistently met. Qualifications Licensed to practice law or eligible for admission in New Mexico; J.D. from an accredited law school. Strong legal research and writing skills, including the ability to analyze complex medical and legal issues. Experience or interest in litigation, particularly in medical negligence, healthcare law, or professional liability. Ability to review and interpret medical records and collaborate effectively with medical experts. Excellent organizational, time-management, and case management skills with attention to detail. Clear, professional communication skills for interaction with clients, courts, and colleagues.
