Senior Cash Applications Coordinator

What You'll Do

You'll be an important member of the accounting team responsible for ensuring incoming payments are processed accurately and customer accounts remain up to date.

Responsibilities will include:

• Process and apply incoming customer payments accurately and efficiently.
• Handle payments received through ACH, wire transfers, checks, and other methods.
• Research payments that cannot immediately be matched to the correct account.
• Resolve payment discrepancies and application issues.
• Review and clear unapplied cash.
• Reconcile daily cash activity and deposits.
• Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
• Respond to questions regarding payment status and account activity.
• Work closely with billing, accounts receivable, cash management, and other internal teams.
• Assist with reporting and special accounting projects as needed.
• Help identify opportunities to improve and streamline cash application processes.

What They're Looking For

• Approximately 1–3+ years of cash applications, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience .
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good Excel skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to research and resolve payment discrepancies independently.
• Comfortable working with a high volume of transactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required with relevant experience .
