About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required; previous charge experience required License: Active RN State License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Patient age range experience: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults - Floating required within specialty Description: This is a PACU RN position. The position covers daily shifts; however, hours may vary. The operational hours of the unit are 07:30 - 20:30. The nurse may be scheduled for any time between these hours. The nurse will be required to work holidays and every other weekend. On-call shifts are required, with a commitment of three shifts in a four-week period. Staff must be comfortable floating within the specialty and to other units as needed. The nurse will take call shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, as well as during holidays. The ability to provide care for a diverse patient population is essential. Skilled practice in several critical nursing areas is required. Completion of competencies and compliance documentation is necessary prior to starting the role. Additional certifications may be required based on unit needs. Candidates must adhere to company policies throughout their employment.
