Description Under direct supervision this position is accountable to the RN to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient/resident, family and providers in the department in completion of the duties delegated to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the needs of the patient/resident through the RN. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient/resident focused care Nursing services delivered by the CNA under the scope of their practice are supervised by and report to the licensed nurses. Required qualifications: Coursework/Training and Successful completion of Caring Reliably, Culinary Training, ServSafe, and Dining Assistance within four months of hire. Coursework/Training and Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant Upon hire: Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred qualifications: 6 months of experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant or personal care attendant in long term care or hospital. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
