Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Responsibilities include performing therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures, evaluating patient response to respiratory therapy and taking corrective action, providing education to patients and staff, performing routine equipment maintenance and service checks, and maintaining records and documentation in accordance with physician orders, hospital policy, and departmental standards of care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Active state respiratory therapy license in good standing at time of submission. Compact license: FALSE.
• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). This requirement is client specific and required.
• Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, ICU, ER settings, and arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis. This requirement is client specific and required.
• NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) certification required.
• BLS certification required prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience working in hospital or acute care environments preferred.

Assignment Details

• 36 hour guarantee.
• Every third weekend required.
• Shift hours approximately 18:30-19:00 start time window based on provided schedule.
