Nurse Practitioner Float - Compensation $74.87 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment 401(k) with company match is available after 1 year of service (on eligibility dates) Nurse Practitioner Float - Highlights Temporary contract assignment (current duration expected to be a year-long assignment based on attendance, performance and business needs) Schedule: Mon–Fri: 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM Sat: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Sun: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM Every other weekend required (possible holiday rotations) Patient-facing role Training: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week for 3 weeks Nurse Practitioner Float - Responsibilities Provide primary and family evidence-based care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of health conditions Deliver health counseling and support disposition planning Perform clinic administrative duties including opening/closing, inventory, and patient follow-up Verify insurance, collect payments, and maintain a clean/organized clinical environment Conduct patient appointments and routine exams to support positive health outcomes Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals Encourage patient engagement through health screenings, wellness support, and chronic condition management Nurse Practitioner Float - Requirements Master’s Degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program Current National Board Certification Active NP/PA license in good standing (in the state of employment) Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as an NP (family medicine, primary care, or urgent care) Current BLS (AHA or ARC) — will be required to provide proof upon offer acceptance Must live in Missouri Must be able to work every other weekend (and possible holiday rotations) High School Diploma/GED (verifiable) Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Nurse Practitioner Float - Preferred Qualifications Urgent care experience (in addition to primary care) Experience with electronic medical systems (EMR/EMS) Strong understanding of quality measures for chronic disease management Strong communication, organization, and ability to work autonomously in a team-based care model Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure (as needed for float work) If you think this Nurse Practitioner Float - position is a good fit for you, please apply to this posting!
