Protein Processing Sanitation Lead

Step into a shift that keeps our food supply safe
At 3:00pm, you arrive on the floor in Foley, MN and rally the sanitation crew. As the Protein Processing Sanitation Lead, you guide a team that cleans and sanitizes meat processing equipment used for pork, beef, chicken, and turkey. You set the pace, verify standards, and leave every production area spotless by 9:00pm—ready for the next day.
What you’ll do
- Lead and mentor a sanitation team, applying your management experience to coordinate tasks and coach performance.
- Clean and sanitize meat processing equipment and tools used for pork, beef, chicken, and turkey production.
- Keep all production areas neat, orderly, and audit-ready at all times.
- Operate or learn pallet handling equipment to move product or packaging materials as needed.
- Model strict compliance with GMPs, safety, sanitation protocols, and all company plant rules.
- Complete basic written logs and calculations; communicate clearly with your team.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
What it takes to thrive
- Proven team leadership; prior management experience.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive.
- Comfort with a very active role; able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Basic writing and math skills.
