Event Manager

NinetyEightConsulting is partnering with a fashion brand based in New York City. We are seeking an Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of brand events, activations, partnerships, and industry experiences. This role will be responsible for bringing the brand to life through thoughtful, elevated events that drive awareness, strengthen relationships, and create memorable customer and VIP experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of brand events, launches, activations, and experiential marketing initiatives
• Manage event timelines, budgets, logistics, and vendor relationships from concept through completion
• Partner cross-functionally with marketing, PR, creative, retail, and leadership teams to ensure seamless execution
• Source and negotiate with venues, production partners, caterers, talent, and external agencies
• Coordinate guest lists, invitations, VIP experiences, and event communications
• Oversee on-site event management and troubleshoot issues in real time
• Track event performance and provide post-event reporting and insights
• Stay current on industry trends, venues, and experiential opportunities within fashion, luxury, and lifestyle

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in event management, experiential marketing, PR events, or brand activations
• Background within fashion, luxury, beauty, hospitality, or consumer brands strongly preferred
• Proven experience managing multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong vendor management and budget oversight experience
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to travel as needed for events and activations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools

Preferred

• Experience supporting NYFW, brand launches, influencer events, VIP experiences, or retail activations
• Strong network of event vendors, venues, and production partners in New York
