Registered Nurse

Under the direct supervision of the Student Health Unit (SHU) Supervising Registered Nurse, the Registered Nurse performs general nursing care duties as assigned in a health unit clinic that is open 24 hours, serving the 500 students ages 3 to 22 at the California School for the Deaf and California School for the Blind.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Possession of the legal requirements to practice as a professional Registered Nurse in California;
• Provide the above information on the state application form (Std. 678);
• Ability to work day, evening, or night shifts.

The California School for the Deaf, Fremont CSDF) is one of 6 State Special Schools under the Department of Education. Located on a 96-acre campus shared with the California School for the Blind, and the Diagnostic Center, North, we are a short walk from BART and have free employee parking.
