Private Equity acquisition in need of a P&L Leader.

Our client is a 207 employee precision machining operation for a critical industry.

We are seeking a President/GM to be lead a highly engaged team and focus on sustainable growth with emphasis on teamwork to produce exceptional products for global customers.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Leader to manage the operations strategy and growth.

The right candidate must be charismatic, have high emotional intelligence, ability to nurture a great company culture, provide inspired and engaged leadership to the team and establish a great working relationship with the board of directors. They will display high personal integrity, positivity and the ability to operate effectively. They will have a proven track record of driving successful strategies that support growth and innovation in a highly engineered environment.

The new President will ensure the quality and efficiency of operations and the ongoing vitality of the company’s strategy. They will provide leadership in all aspects of the business, including Sales & Marketing, R&D, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Strategic Planning and Finance & Administration.

Ideally, they will have worked within the machined, automotive, aerospace or other highly engineered environment that is committed to the highest standards in Quality, Customer Satisfaction and Safety. They will bring market acumen and the ability to drive an effective organization with innovative market-leading product lines. They will have in-depth experience in developing effective growth strategies on a global basis and will have a proven track record of delivering results.

What we’re looking for

· Strong business acumen with 20+ years of experience in leadership with P/L responsibility in similar businesses.

· Experience with building strategic plans and business strategy

· Ability to lead effectively in an employee-centric culture.

· Identify and execute on current and future market opportunities.

· Relocation required

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree Engineering or Technical with Master's degree in a relevant discipline or MBA.

· 20+ yrs experience in a senior management position (C-level).

· Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners, and the workforce.

· Drives the organization to meet or exceed budget forecasts

· Ability to understand new issues quickly, make wise decisions and execute them.

· Ability to inspire confidence and create trust.

· Understanding of human resources and personnel management.

· Focuses on employee engagement.

· Knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting.

· Proven negotiation skills.

· Experience with corporate governance.
