Details CT Scan department in a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital 4x10 hour night shifts, Monday-Thursday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM Includes holiday rotation No on-call requirement Floating within scope to sister facilities as needed Caseload varies per shift and location Uses Siemens CT equipment, PACS, and Sectra Epic charting system used Requirements 1 year of CT experience preferred, minimum 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT) certifications required SC state license required (in hand at time of start); license required if applicable Level 1 Trauma experience required Teaching hospital experience preferred Experience with PIV starts and Siemens CT equipment required Epic EMR experience required Skills in 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement preferred Experience with abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine/musculoskeletal CT studies Experience with contrast media preparation and administration Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE Driver's license and SSN required for consideration Additional Information Perform CT imaging across adult acute care, outpatient, ICU, and Emergency Department settings Duties may include vascular CTA, coronary CTA, brain perfusion, biopsies, and drainage procedures Attendance at all staff meetings required Teal top and black bottom scrub color required During hurricane season (June-November), travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams First-time travelers accepted if they have relevant prior experience Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler Radius rule of 60 miles applies; local candidates considered case-by-case at a reduced rate All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for manager approval One-time $20 parking pass fee applies for nights and weekends American Traveler Job ID P-745758.
