Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a busy manufacturing operation in the Zebulon area. This position is ideal for candidates with 3– 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment and strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities. The right candidate will be comfortable working with production equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with facility repairs to keep operations running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain production machinery, mechanical systems, and facility equipment
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs in a timely manner
• Read and interpret diagrams, technical manuals, and equipment specifications
• Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper operation and performance
• Operate shop tools and equipment to fabricate or modify repair parts as needed
• Assist with general building and facility maintenance projects
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Regularly stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3– 5 years of verifiable maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience repairing industrial machinery and facility equipment
• Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and maintenance documentation
• Technical training, certification, or trade school education preferred
• Dependable attendance and strong attention to safety

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday
• 5: 00 AM – 3: 30 PM
