Auto/Diesel Truck Mechanic/Technician

Position Overview Auto/Diesel Truck Mechanic/Technician – up to $35.00 per hour based on experience. Monday to Friday, 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM), weekends off. The role represents Transervice with our customer, PPL, a major utilities company. Responsibilities Maintain proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of all assigned equipment for a major telecom company. Inspect, diagnose and repair bucket truck and digger derrick hydraulic systems. Perform PA state inspections and manufacturer‑recommended services. Diagnose and repair after‑treatment systems. Perform system repairs to include engines, transmission, air and hydraulic systems, tires, drive‑train, steering and suspension, electrical and A/C. Perform system repairs to include gas and diesel engines, transmission, air and hydraulic systems, tires, drive‑train, steering and suspension, electrical and A/C. Perform routine maintenance on various types of equipment and vehicles such as gas and diesel engines, bucket lift trucks. Qualifications Must be able to work on various types of vehicles and diesel equipment for a major telecom company. Certification from an auto or diesel mechanic trade school or a minimum of three years of related experience as a diesel/power mechanic. Must have a CDL A or B license. A series ASE certifications are a plus. Diagnostic skills preferred. Knowledge of hydraulics. Own set of tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills (a must). Computer skills: MS Office, GMail, TMT (Maintenance Software). Able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen. Benefits Employee Discount Programs with FORD and GM. ASE Program Bonus $13,500.
