In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day service operations within specified areas of Dining Services. The Lead Server helps to guarantee the highest quality program for the residents. Supporting our front-line team in providing exceptional service.

Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities

• Lead associates in providing the highest quality food and services for all residents and dining guests.
• Ensure the dining room is sanitary, organized, and fully stocked at all
• Ensure service stations and dining room are properly set up and ready prior to each
• Provide training to new staff in fine-dining principles, service etiquette, and other dining services
• Verify that all job cards (cleaning lists and side work) are being completed for each
• Assign or complete the closing check-out list at the end of the
• Conduct daily pre-service meeting and documentation for each
• Review daily associate assignments, the menu, food ingredients (gluten-free, allergens, ) and communicate new policies/procedures or other pertinent information to the associates.

Position Requirement

Education: High School Diploma/GED required; associate's degree in food service preferred

Licenses/Certifications: Food Handler's certificate or other required certification as specified by state guidelines

Experience: 3+ years in food service
