Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a facility that provides specialized care for critically ill neonates. This contract opportunity involves working weeknights and weekends, primarily during night shifts, with a focus on delivering high-quality care to vulnerable neonatal patients. The role offers a flexible schedule to accommodate clinical and operational needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: Weeknights and weekends, 48 hours per week, four 12-hour shifts. Flex position; shifts predominantly nights.
• Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact, if applicable to Rhode Island), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, minimum 1 year recent Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience (Level II/III), Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system experience, certifications: BLS, NRP, and professional references, work attestation, and relevant skills checklist.
• Preferred Qualifications: STABLE certification (confirm if unit requires), additional NICU experience in high-acuity neonate care.
• Additional Information: The assignment begins on 11/02/2026 and ends on 01/02/2027, with no extension available. Candidates with no time off requests will be prioritized. Some holidays are required, including Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year's Eve and Day. This position is suitable for candidates with at least 1-2 years of NICU experience, and applicants meeting requirements may be fast-tracked without a full interview.
