Responsibilities

Collect high-quality blood specimens from patients following established practices and procedures.

Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to specimen collection and processing.

Ensure a safe and professional environment for patients and staff.

Demonstrate leadership behaviors by focusing on process excellence and confidentiality.

Assist in maintaining a positive image of the facility through professional conduct.

Required Skills

Proven phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collection techniques.

Ability to perform accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build trust with patients.

Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.

Comfort with data entry and keyboarding tasks.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills & Requirements

Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; over one year preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred, especially in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime based on staffing needs.

Reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival within a 20-25 minute commute window.

Customer service experience in retail or service environments is a plus.

Must be available to work scheduled shifts and demonstrate punctuality and dependability.
