Maintenance Mechanic III

Industrial Maintenance TechnicianWe are searching for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team!Our Associates enjoy full-time hours, job stability, and job growth. We take care of you, as you help us take care of thousands of medical patients and providers.What you will be doing:Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform emergency repairs to various types of industrial machines in production area.Operate power equipment in accordance to OSHA and company safety standards.Notify maintenance and supervisor of needed machine repairs or areas of maintenance concern.Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.Monitor, identify, and respond promptly to signs of malfunction in machinery such as changes in performance, temperature fluctuations, sounds, smells, or atypical energy usage; perform troubleshooting for production machinery.Perform emergency repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical, electric, and hydraulic; identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely manner.Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual inspections, listening for irregular noises, and conducting scheduled testing as appropriate.Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED3 or more years mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical equipment, troubleshooting & repair, and safe work practicesExperience working in production environment.Be able to read building and electrical schematics.Possess excellent skills and techniques in repairing and maintaining industrial/production machines.Should have basic math skills.Should have excellent organizational and decision-making skills.Must be able to work independently and efficiently in an often fast-paced environment.Why Choose Nixon Medical?Comprehensive Benefits Package:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off & Paid HolidaysQuarterly Customer Service Bonus ProgramCompany-Paid Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramAt Nixon Medical, we believe in growing and creating opportunities that enrich each other's lives.
