ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Hematology / Oncology for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Hematology / Oncology Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/22/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Oncology Med/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) Schedule Shift: NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A / 7A-7P ROTATION. Available for 36 and 48 hours per week. Requires 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must be available to work at least 1 holiday during the contract period. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Oncology Med/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of acute medical-surgical and tele-health nursing, with specific experience in oncology interventions. You will work closely with patients suffering from conditions including osteomyelitis, chemotherapy-related issues, small bowel obstruction (SBO), sepsis, and TRAM flaps. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the oncology Med/Tele unit. Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement treatment plans. Educate patients and families on care procedures and health maintenance. Remain flexible to float to other units as needed based on operational requirements. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg/tele and oncology nursing. 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
