What You'll Do
- Conduct a full spectrum of lab tests on blood, tissue, and body fluids using state-of-the-art techniques.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced laboratory equipment to ensure reliable and timely test results.
- Analyze lab data and partner with medical staff to support accurate diagnoses and optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other regulations through consistent quality assurance and documentation practices.
- Support and guide lab technicians while contributing to a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- ASCP certification (MLS, CLS, or MT) or equivalent (e.g., AMT). Recent grads eligible for certification are encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of laboratory operations, instrumentation, and safety standards
- Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Prior mentoring or leadership experience is a plus
