Job Title

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Location

Anchorage, AK | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, with potential float to EP or IR within scope of practice to meet facility needs
• Participate in on-call rotation, including approximately one on-call day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 6:00 PM – Monday 7:30 AM)
• Work approximately one Saturday per month as part of the standard 4-shift weekly schedule
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license required; pending Alaska RN license accepted for submission, but license must be in hand for offer
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience; at least 1 year required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Willingness to float to EP or IR within scope of practice as needed
• Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EP (Electrophysiology) experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience in an IR (Interventional Radiology) setting
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
