Location: Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) Shift: Days (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Regular Exemption Status: Yes Job Summary Geisinger is seeking BC/BE Hematologists to join well‑established cancer programs at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes‑Barre, PA and Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. The organization offers early‑career and experienced hematology oncology physicians an opportunity to develop their careers within a physician‑led, collaborative team that includes surgical oncology, palliative medicine, radiation oncology, pathology, diagnostic radiology, and behavioral medicine to deliver quality cancer care. Job Duties Providers work with fellows and residents to train the next generation of hematology and oncology physicians. They engage in education programs at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, develop clinical and informatics research in collaboration with the MyCode Community Health Initiative, and support participation in NCI‑NCORP clinical trials. Providers also have the opportunity to enroll patients on clinical trials and pursue a faculty position at the medical school.
