Project Manager / Superintendent - Luxury & Custom Homes

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Superintendent to lead high-end residential construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will combine strong site supervision skills with construction management experience, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the exacting standards expected for luxury and custom homes. This role requires hands-on leadership, client-facing professionalism, and the ability to coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and quality control across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as primary on-site Superintendent and Project Manager for luxury and custom home projects, overseeing daily field operations and overall project execution.
• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules; coordinate trade sequencing and manage subcontractor performance to meet milestones.
• Monitor and control project budgets; review and approve invoices, process change orders, and identify cost-saving opportunities while preserving quality.
• Ensure construction complies with plans, specifications, building codes, and quality standards; conduct regular inspections and manage punch lists to completion.
• Communicate proactively with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants to address design issues, status updates, and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Enforce jobsite safety protocols and maintain a safe, clean site in accordance with company policies and OSHA requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including daily reports, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and as-built records.
• Lead and mentor on-site crews and subcontractors; facilitate coordination meetings and resolve scheduling or technical conflicts quickly and professionally.
• Coordinate deliveries, equipment, and logistics to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
• Support pre-construction activities as needed, including estimating, constructability reviews, and value engineering suggestions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined experience as a Superintendent and/or Construction Manager on luxury or custom residential projects (minimum 3 years in a superintendent role preferred).
• Proven track record managing luxury homes, custom construction, or high-end renovation projects with attention to premium finishes and craftsmanship.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, permitting processes, and quality control practices.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Bluebeam) and proficiency in reading plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, process change orders, and maintain accurate project documentation.
• OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification preferred; valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
• Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a premium client experience.
