Commercial HVAC Account Executive

The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Commercial HVAC Account Executive to work at a company located in the Tampa, FL area! Job Title: Commercial HVAC Account Executive Job Location: Tampa Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: $80,000 - $110,000/year + competitive benefits package. Monday – Friday 8am -5pm Job Description: Acquire new commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts through strategic outreach, networking, and relationship building. Cold call prospective customers to generate leads and develop new business opportunities. Sell to both C-level executives and technical buyers by tailoring messaging to their unique priorities and concerns. Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, facility managers, engineers, management companies, and other key stakeholders. Estimate, bid, propose, negotiate, and close jobs and contracts at qualified margins. Identify key decision-makers and tailor solutions to meet their technical and operational needs. Sell service and repair work, retrofit projects, and energy solutions. Clearly communicate and demonstrate a unique value proposition. Prepare accurate proposals based on project specifications and customer requirements. Conduct persuasive sales presentations and negotiate contracts to close profitable deals. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction. Continuously engage existing customers to ensure expectations are met and proactively address concerns. Organize and prepare bid documentation and ensure the accuracy of estimates. Maintain detailed records of sales activities, pipeline updates, and customer interactions within the CRM. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues. Identify and pursue additional opportunities within existing accounts by asking insightful questions and recognizing additional customer needs. Stay organized and manage competing priorities to ensure timely follow-through and execution. Take initiative to identify improvements, prevent problems, and develop new business opportunities. Navigate complex organizations to reach key decision-makers and influence outcomes. Demonstrate resilience and maintain focus under pressure, recovering quickly from setbacks. Maintain a customer-first mindset by consistently delivering value and reinforcing trust. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of commercial HVAC experience with knowledge of HVAC codes and standards. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred but not required. Proven success in sales. Ability to build trust-based relationships and close deals within complex sales environments. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Highly motivated self-starter with a hunter mentality and passion for achieving results. Resilient and able to remain focused under pressure. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify win-win solutions. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to travel regularly to customer sites and work in various environments, including offices, warehouses, medical facilities, and educational facilities. Ability to work outdoors in hot or variable weather conditions. Ability to climb ladders and safely navigate job sites. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods as needed.
