Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position offers the chance to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) from August 3, 2026, through May 20, 2027, focusing on both blended and self-contained early childhood classrooms.

Qualifications:

• Valid or eligible Illinois Occupational Therapy license
• Background in school-based OT or experience with early childhood populations preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teams and families
• Flexible mindset with the ability to problem solve in diverse situations

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Ensure student participation in classroom activities by supporting development in fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities
• Adapt tasks and classroom environments to best meet students’ individualized needs
• Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments as needed, delivering comprehensive, insightful reports from observations and testing
• Set, implement, and monitor IEP objectives and accommodations for students with varied abilities
• Foster ongoing communication with parents and educational colleagues to discuss developmental milestones and areas for growth
