Afternoon Caregiver Needed in Naples

Description Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable, and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life. The role is offered on an independent contractor basis and pays $17.00 hourly. Schedule: Monday to Friday 3:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Saturdays and Sundays 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. You will be a good fit for this position if you Have a positive outlook and contagious energy. Demonstrate patience and compassion. Responsibilities and Duties You Can Expect in the Role Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities. Assisting with personal hygiene tasks. Meal preparation and light cleaning. Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment. Facilitating community involvement by accompanying the individual to social events and outings such as grocery shopping and appointments. Promoting communication, choice, independence, and socialization. Completing daily progress notes. Requirements and Qualifications Valid driver’s license. Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening. Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training. Have a High School diploma or equivalent. Are 18 years of age or older.
