Substitute Special Education Bus Aide

Job Description Location: Warrick County School Corporation Maintenance Building - Boonville, Indiana. Open in Google Maps. The Bus Aide will work at multiple locations as needed. The bus aide will ensure the safety and well‑being of a special education student being transported to and from Warrick Education Center by monitoring the student for seizures. If the student has a seizure, the Bus Aide will follow the health plan and administer medicine; the Bus Aide will be trained on how to administer the medicine. In the event of an accident or emergency, assure the safe evacuation of children and adult passengers. Assist in maintaining the interior of the vehicle in a clean and safe operating condition. Assure that no child is ever left unsupervised on a bus. Perform other duties, as may be assigned.
