Job Title: Bartender

The Chicago Marriott O’Hare Hotel is looking for part-time Bartender to join our awesome hotel team!  

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Greet customers, take drink and food orders, and provide menu recommendations.
• Verify customers' age to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware, equipment, and workstations.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies.
• Process cash and credit card payments accurately.
• Monitor customer alcohol consumption and refuse service when necessary.
• Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including inventory and cash reconciliation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous bartending or hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage preparation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 pounds.
• Responsible Beverage Service certification.

Availability:  

• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
