Cherry Picker Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck / Cherry Picker Operator to support warehouse shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment operations in Clinton, NC.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating stand-up reach trucks, cherry pickers/order pickers, and sit-down or stand-up forklifts in a warehouse environment. This role requires safe equipment operation, accurate inventory handling, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

Pick, process, and verify orders for accuracy.
Operate stand-up reach trucks, cherry pickers, and forklifts to move and retrieve inventory.
Transport, put away, and retrieve pallets from multi-level storage racks.
Receive, unload, inspect, and stock incoming shipments.
Stage, replenish, and prepare products for outbound shipments.
Use an MDS scanning gun to scan and track inventory.
Identify damaged, missing, or surplus inventory and report discrepancies.
Perform daily equipment safety inspections and follow battery-charging procedures.
Maintain accurate inventory records and follow warehouse safety procedures.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Required Qualifications

Previous hands-on experience operating a reach truck and cherry picker/order picker.
Experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
Two to five years of warehouse equipment experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory tracking.
Ability to work an 8-hour shift and regularly lift 45 pounds or more.
Reliable work history, good communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
