Product Manager

The CMS Product Manager owns the strategy, roadmap, and execution of the enterprise Content Management System (CMS) platform, enabling scalable, performant, accessible, and compliant digital experiences across web and omnichannel properties. This role partners closely with Engineering, UX, Marketing, Legal, Accessibility, and Operations to deliver measurable business value. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities• Own the CMS product vision, roadmap, and backlog, aligned with enterprise digital and customer experience strategy.• Translate business, customer, legal, accessibility, and operational needs into clear product requirements, epics, and user stories.• Partner with Architecture and Engineering to guide CMS capabilities, including authoring workflows, reusable components, personalization, integrations, and platform governance.• Drive prioritization and planning across feature delivery, platform stability, performance, and technical debt.• Lead stakeholder alignment and executive communications, including roadmap reviews, progress updates, risk management, and decision support.• Ensure CMS solutions meet security, privacy, accessibility (WCAG), and compliance standards at scale.• Define and track KPIs and ROI for CMS investments and platform enhancements.• Evaluate and incorporate vendor and platform capabilities (AEM, headless CMS, experience platforms) to inform roadmap decisions.Required Qualifications – General Product Manager• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.• 6+ years of Product Management experience supporting enterprise web or CMS platforms.• Strong experience working with cross functional teams (Engineering, UX, Marketing, Legal, Accessibility).• Ability to clearly articulate strategy, tradeoffs, and priorities to both technical and non technical audiences.• Proven experience managing products in large, complex digital ecosystems.Preferred Qualifications• Hands on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) in enterprise environments.• Experience with headless CMS, Edge Delivery, personalization, or experimentation platforms.• Familiarity with accessibility remediation, CMS governance models, and compliance driven programs.• Experience supporting high traffic, customer facing digital platforms.AEM specific technical skill set• Strong functional understanding of enterprise CMS platforms, with hands on exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred.• Familiarity with AEM architecture concepts: Authoring, Cloud Service model, component based design, templates, and content models (without needing to code)• Understanding of AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) and headless or hybrid delivery models.• Knowledge of content authoring workflows, reusable components/blocks, and editorial governance models that scale across large organization.• Ability to define standards for templates, components, and workflows to ensure brand consistency and efficiency.• Experience balancing author usability vs platform control in CMS environments.• Working knowledge of cloud based CMS deployments and managed CI/CD pipelines (e.g., AEM Cloud Manager).• Understanding how CI/CD quality gates (security, performance, code quality) impact release planning and prioritization• Ability to align roadmap planning with release cadences, rollback strategies, and platform constraints• Familiarity with web performance metrics (FCP, LCP, Core Web Vitals) and how CMS choices influence them• Understanding of caching strategies (CDN/Akamai) and edge delivery for high traffic customer facing sites• Awareness of SEO optimization as it relates to content structure, templates, and CMS output• Strong working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how accessibility requirements affect CMS components, templates, and workflows• Ability to partner with Legal, Security, and Architecture to ensure CMS solutions meet enterprise compliance and risk standards• Experience prioritizing accessibility remediation and compliance work alongside feature delivery• High level understanding of CMS integrations with DAM, Analytics, Personalization, Translation, Forms, and Commerce systems• Experience evaluating build vs buy vs integrate decisions for CMS adjacent capabilities• Ability to translate integration complexity into clear roadmap tradeoffs for stakeholdersPosting Date:Department:Product Management - 1503710011
