Preconstruction Manager in Oklahoma City, OK$110,000+ SalaryDirect Hire / Full-TimeOn-SiteOccasional travel required, primarily throughout the Oklahoma City metro area with some domestic travelWe are seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead and oversee all preconstruction activities from project conception through handoff to operations. This leadership role is responsible for delivering exceptional preconstruction services, managing client relationships, mentoring team members, and ensuring projects are positioned for success before construction begins.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary preconstruction representative to clients and project stakeholdersAttend owner, architect, and contractor meetings while helping clients align project goals with budget expectationsDevelop conceptual budgets and perform value management analysesCoordinate closely with operations teams to ensure accurate project cost budgetingLead and facilitate preconstruction meetings and status reportingEstablish, maintain, and strengthen subcontractor relationships and networking effortsReview project cost reports, subcontract agreements, general conditions estimates, schedules, and below-the-line costsAssist with business development initiatives and client engagement strategiesEnsure compliance with company standards, risk management policies, and business practicesProvide leadership, mentorship, quarterly check-ins, and performance reviews for direct reportsManage multiple project priorities while maintaining quality and schedule commitmentsQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of education)8+ years of construction industry experienceStrong conceptual estimating and budgeting expertiseProven experience delivering high-level preconstruction services to clientsStrong understanding of construction operations, logistics, estimating, and takeoff softwareWorking knowledge of Autodesk softwareExcellent communication, leadership, organizational, and time management skillsStrong math and accounting aptitudeEstablished networking presence within the construction communityWhy Consider This Opportunity?This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative construction team where your expertise will directly impact project success, client satisfaction, and business growth.
