MUST: 3+ years of experience as a phlebotomist Certified as a phlebotomist or must have a phlebotomy diploma Experience working in a high volume setting Experienced working with geriatric patients Strong documentation skills in EMR and Lab Software Labeling vials Preparing samples for evaluation Showing providers critical blood counts Reviewing patient information and verifying accuracy Experience processing labs Entering lab work into computer software Assisting with maintenance of equipment Maintaining and ordering supplies

DUTIES: The Phlebotomist will be responsible for the following: Draw blood on high volume of patients per day including geriatric patients Label specimens Prepare specimens for review Update patient information in Lab software system Clean and stock exam rooms Maintain and order supplies Ensure all related labs and reports are entered into patients charts and EMR System Provide instructions to patients as needed Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
