Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, supporting production processes, verifying outbound and inbound shipments, and assisting with inventory management activities.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload outbound and inbound trailers, preparing proper documentation.
• Support production activities by staging production materials, removing finished products from the production floor, and reconciling product pull sheets with production.
• Ensure accurate inbound and outbound shipments by performing accurate product counts, freight damage assessments, QA check-in inspections, and discrepancy reporting.
• Responsible for managing upkeep and cleanliness of warehouse.
• Stock shelves.

Essential Skills:

• One year of experience in warehouse/manufacturing.
• Ability to certify and operate a forklift and other equipment needed to move material.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to lift 65 pounds, stoop, kneel, twist, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with picking, packing, material handling, and general labor.
• Experience in unloading, shipping and receiving, and production.
• Proficiency in order picking, heavy lifting, loading, shipping & receiving, and warehouse packing.
• Ability to work with hay and hay-based products.

Work Environment:

Work involves handling hay or grass, so no grass allergies are preferred. Work shifts are Monday to Friday, with a first shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and a second shift from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm. Additionally, there are shifts from Monday to Thursday, with a first shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm and a second shift from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
