Petland is seeking an enthusiastic Retail Sales Professional to join its team in Topeka, Kansas. As a national leader in the retail pet industry, Petland is committed to matching the right pet with the right customer while supporting responsible pet care. This role reports to shared store leadership and offers opportunities for national placement and career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service.
- Assist customers with pet adoptions and product selection.
- Educate customers on pet care and product usage.
- Achieve sales and pet placement goals.
- Maintain the health and well-being of animals in the store.
- Keep the store clean, organized, well-stocked, and customer-ready.
- Monitor inventory and assist with restocking.
- Collaborate with team members to support smooth store operations.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of retail sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Driven to achieve sales and customer service goals.
Family owned franchise where owner is onsite. A staple of Topeka since 1985.
